We will be hosting our annual Christmas dinner at Spit Willow in Llanfairfechan for members. You will have been e-mailed a menu and details, if you have not received your email please let us know.

Annual Show and Sale 2024

Show of horses begins at 9am
Tack sale begins at 10am
Sale of horses to follow the show of horses. Light & heavy horses will be available in the sale

FREE Members Showing Clinic / experience day -Driving, riding and in-hand.

Program as follows: Arrive 12 onwards
1pm - Robinsons Brewery Shires, tack up and dray hitching demo with driving demo. opportunity for members to try long reining.
2pm - Susan Thomas tack up for riding with a riding demonstration.
3pm - Showmanship - Rhys to can talk through how to show in hand. People can have a chance to trial this themselves.
4pm - Judging pointers - Robinson gelding. Susan mare. Rhys- Mare and foal. Barbara - gelding.
5pm - bbq and then a social / meeting. Finish for 6.

This is a clinic / q&a event, as we go along so people can learn and understand why things are done the way they are. costs for refreshments to be paid on the day




West Wales Shire Horse Society Annual Show 2024

It’s time for our annual show! Come out and see some beautiful gentle giants in hand, ridden and in harness. We’ll also have stalls and a bouncy castle. £5 entry for adults, children free



Working Morning and Mountain Ride

Event Time: 10:00
Event Location: Conwy
Event hosted by Shaun Bamber

A morning of working experience starting at 10am, followed by a ride out over Conwy mountain at 12, finishing for tea and cake at Pensychnant conservation centre.
Free to paid members, with a fee for refreshments.
Please let myself or Emma know if you plan to attend with or without a horse.
Of course this outdoor event is weather permitting, so please continue to do your sun dances
